Real Love

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Message of the day

We all sin and make mistakes but don’t let those sins or mistakes separate you from the joy of the Lord. When Jesus forgives He forgets, He wants you to move forward. Rejoice it is a new day.

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

“I will remember your sins no more”. Hebrews 8:12

“Go, and sin no more”. John 8:11

The Trinity

The Trinity is one of the great theological mysteries. The Bible teaches there are three divine Persons of the Godhead, each showing fully the divine nature (Luke 3:21,22). The three Persons comprise what the Scripture represents as the ONE TRUE GOD.

The Father is the fountainhead of the Trinity, the Creator. He is the concept of all that has been and will be created. The Son is the expression of God, the “only begotten” of the Father, and He himself is God. As God incarnate He reveals the Father to us (John 14:9). The Son of God is the agent of creation and mankind’s only Redeemer. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and is glorified and worshiped together with the Father and Son. He inspired the Scriptures, empowers God’s people, and convicts the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).

Picture of the day

This picture reminded me of how we go through the storms of life, but while in the storm we are never alone. Jesus is right there with us so we can rejoice and know everything will be alright.

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Ps 46:1-2 KJV

Sinners Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
I know I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I know you loved me so much you sent your only son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for my sin. I believe that Jesus, and only Jesus, can save me, and If I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead I am saved. Thank you Lord for saving me. AMEN.

(Romans 10:9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Introduction

For those of you who don’t know about the beautiful sacrifice. The beautiful sacrifice is Jesus Christ who gave His life for us.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

Now that is the most beautiful thing ever, to have a God that loves us so much.

If you would like to be saved the Bible says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  Ephesians 2:1 KJV, Romans 10:9 KJV

You may ask why do we need to be saved? Well because of sin we were all destined for hell, but God sent His Son to pay the price for those sins. Saving us from an eternity in hell and giving us an eternity to spend with Him. The bible makes it clear that God is holy and man is sinful and this sin separates us from Him.

(1 John 4:9-10) “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  {10} Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
