Ginger Tea

(Reflection on Life)

I wanted to share my experience in the grocery store because it reminds me of how life can be as a believer in Christ.

I was in the grocery store looking for ginger tea so I decided to ask the manager since he was nearby. He happily escorted me to the aisle and I proceeded down the aisle cautiously not to miss it and I still didn’t see it. I was beginning to notice that it doesn’t look like tea would even belong on this aisle. Did he send me down the wrong aisle? Where is it? Finally I get all the way down to the other end of the aisle and there it was on the top left.

I find this ordinary experience in the grocery store to be a reflection on life. We are going through life looking for something God told us He would give us, but when we don’t see it right away we get discouraged and think we must be going in the wrong direction. We almost turn around, but the Holy Spirit speaks to us and says, “keep going it’s right up ahead”.

(Proverbs 3:5-6) ” Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  {6} In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

All scriptures are KJV only.

  1. Wow! This Blog Topic Ginger Tea is very encouraging because it’s an earthly experience that has a spiritual meaning. We must trust in the LORD, and always allow the Holy Spirit to lead us at all times.

Thank you for sharing the Word of GOD with me and others.
