The Trinity

The Trinity is one of the great theological mysteries. The Bible teaches there are three divine Persons of the Godhead, each showing fully the divine nature (Luke 3:21,22). The three Persons comprise what the Scripture represents as the ONE TRUE GOD.

The Father is the fountainhead of the Trinity, the Creator. He is the concept of all that has been and will be created. The Son is the expression of God, the “only begotten” of the Father, and He himself is God. As God incarnate He reveals the Father to us (John 14:9). The Son of God is the agent of creation and mankind’s only Redeemer. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and is glorified and worshiped together with the Father and Son. He inspired the Scriptures, empowers God’s people, and convicts the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).
